Advert description
I am currently a 5th year medical student at Oxford university with an in-depth understanding of biology, mathematics, and various sciences, which provides a solid foundation for teaching these subjects at the A level and GCSE level. My academic journey has equipped me with strong problem-solving skills and a thorough grasp of the curriculum. Additionally, I have experience in peer tutoring and mentoring fellow students, which has honed my ability to convey complex concepts in an understandable manner. I have amassed over 500 hours of tutoring on a range of platforms and privately, with a significantly high rate of students who elevate their grades and get accepted into their chosen degree or sixth form. For A levels I did maths, biology and chemistry in which I got A* A* A. I also did an EPQ which I got an A and AS level physics which I received an A. For GCSEs I received six 9s, two 8s and two A*s- so you can be assured I have the skills required to help you achieve similar grades. Teaching has always been a fulfilling endeavor for me. Here’s why: My enthusiasm for science is boundless, and I find great joy in explaining complex concepts in a way that makes them accessible and exciting. I believe education is empowering. By sharing knowledge, I hope to inspire you to pursue your passions and achieve your full potential. As a student who went to a state school in a deprived area of London it took a lot of hard work from me but immense help from my teachers and parents to get me into Oxford medical student. Thus, I have a strong sense of duty to give back and help others navigate their academic journeys. As a student from Oxford my USP is that I have the skill set to develop your Problem-Solving Skills particularly for subjects like maths and science by encouraging questions that fosters a learning environment where students feel inquisitive about the content they’re learning rather than taking it at face value. I typically offer 60 minute lessons online but I’m flexible with this and I am excited to embark on this educational journey with you.
