I lived in Italy for many years as Principal Ballet Master of Teatro alla Scala in Milan, and Ballet Director of the Teatro Filarmonico and the Arena di Verona. I speak and write Italian to a native speaker level of proficiency. I hold a Master of Science degree (with Distinction) and am in my final year as a DPhil candidate and the Rosamund Snow Scholar at Green Templeton College, Oxford. I have extensive experience of teaching students of all ages, and my teaching style is informal but structured, aimed at encouraging growth and optimising individual potential.
