Native English Tutor from the UK with 1.5 years' experience teaching English in South Korea.

I have 18 months of experience in South Korea teaching young learners English. Together, we worked through the textbook syllabus with a particular focus on enhancing their speaking and listening skills. I always strive to create engaging lessons that increase student's motivation and get them excited about learning English! As well as working through grammar points and textbook vocabulary, we will practice free talking every lesson so that students feel equipped for real life scenarios. I also like to play games and activities so that the students can apply English in a creative way that doesn't feel like a conventional lesson. We will review previous materials at the start of each class so that students become familiar with the content, and so that the knowledge is reinforced. I am always a kind and approachable figure to students, so that they feel confident practicing their speaking skills! I understand the struggles of learning a new language, and strongly believe that confidence is key for language learning. Therefore, I give plenty of opportunities for students to ask questions and practice free talking.
