2nd year chemistry student - University of Oxford. GCSE: 9A* 1A , A-levels: 3A* 1A. Chemistry Olympiad Round 2 qualifier

I have previous experience in tutoring GCSE and A-level Chemistry, Physics, Maths and Further maths. My main tutoring approach is to break down a concept into logical steps and guide the tutee through it. Then, apply their acquired knowledge into questions. If the tutee struggles or answers incorrectly, I would identify where they are struggling at or made a mistake at, then thoroughly explain it and allow them to reach the correct answer instead of directly providing the answer to the question. In my experience, this method can secure knowledge and can even easily apply it in more complex problems. If the tutee is preparing for exams, we will work through past papers together to identify weaker areas and highlight exam & revision techniques, as well as providing self-written notes and worked answers for past papers.
