The lessons will be based on a pre-tailored and test-proven syllabus where personalization and the need for application of language given the content of the lesson will be priorotized.
As we are all aware of this fact as students of a second language, which is not our mother tongue, being exposed to authentic contexts of the language we are about to learn is precious. Therefore, I have always highlighted the significance of providing authentic and real-world contents to be taught to my students of all levels.
That being the case, language learners will be exposed to native language situations as they go all about learning their second language in a manner much akin to their native language, i.e, using what they learn in real world problems and issues so to speak.
All in all, I reassure all my students by teaching them precisely what they require to know using need analysis procedure, which is, in turn, substantially to the benefits of all individual learners. Hence, all learners will first be assessed in what they need English language for and will further be able to apply what they have learned to the very peculiar situations they encounter in real life using the practiced contexts they have been taught in the class time.
In a nutshell, we teachers should take into consideration our learners’ personal learning styles while teaching them what they need to learn and ask them to apply whatsoever they have learned to real life out there as a result.
