I am a supportive native English speaker, with a desire to help support those who are limited by their lack of English oracy.

I offer a personalised approach to a holistic teaching of the English Language. I am familiar with the art of breaking concepts down to a simple level, as demonstrated from my experience in a challenging Primary School. Even in a native English environment, students (post-covid) have struggled with pronunciation and basic literacy, as the interest in literature begins to slowly decline. The influx of new platforms such as Tiktok etc. condition the brain to a shorter attention span, with quick, interactive videos. This is something I would echo in my interactions with teaching the younger generation, while still ensuring their understanding is developed . Perhaps with older speakers, I would appreciate more traditional learning methods, with an emphasis on understanding and syllogisms. As a child of a foreign father, who speaks 2 languages at home, I am familiar and relatable to the situation at hand to clients, and provide an understanding outlet for them. I am not afraid to demonstrate authoritative methods if need be, however, overall I would enjoy for the student-teacher relationship to be a rather open one for students, to alleviate any stress and demonstrate that it is okay to ask questions. Furthermore, my own experience as an eldest sibling who continuously helps her Special Educational Needs sister, is something that has allowed me to gain empathy in a teaching role, while maintaining a professional balance.
