I am passionate and dedicated! Lessons are aimed at young children who want to learn English in a fun and clear way.

I will make sure that my student first understands that they can ask me any question at any time. I will talk through grammatical concepts/conversational tips clearly and ensure they are confident in what they are currently learning before moving on. I have experience in tutoring young children to enter the 11+ exams. I gauged their understanding of creative writing/verbal reasoning by briefly asking them some questions, then I gave them some language exercises to help them develop their current grammatical skills. I also gave them templates and fill-in-the-box exercises on how to write their personal statement, and checked up on them constantly as they wrote it (making sure they understand what they are filling in). I believe that repetition is key to making sure that language is learnt in a way that avoids mistakes, so I also held verbal repetition exercises to help any information stick.
