I will firstly find out what my student's goals are, and find out what previous learning they have had. Depending on their level, I will choose appropriate material, and I have lots of material available, from grammar books to games. I will reflect on each lesson and then use more of what worked well, and reduce or eliminate the materials or approaches that did not suit the student, or that the student did not find helpful. Most of all, I will provide the student with a mix of activities, ensuring I cover a range of skills.
