I’m an experienced maths tutor at SATs and GCSE level

To succeed in maths, the student can’t have any gaps in their knowledge. If the student has a fuzzy understanding of multiplication, they won’t be able to understand factorisation. If they have a fuzzy understanding of factorisation, they won’t be able to understand how to solve a polynomial equation. I aim to teach true understanding of maths by showing how each subject area is built up from first principles, how each subject area is connected to each other area, and to clarify any fuzzy understandings and to make the student confident in their knowledge of maths.
