Advert description
I am a third-year pharmacy student at the University of Nottingham, originally from Korea. I achieved seven A*s (including in all three sciences, Maths, and Additional Maths), one A, and one B at IGCSE. My average grades for the first and second years of my degree have been above 70%. I have three years of experience as a private tutor, teaching my juniors.
My teaching approach is structured to first gauge a student's proficiency through a preliminary mock test, helping to identify their strengths and areas for improvement. This assessment allows me to tailor my lessons effectively, starting with theory if necessary. For a typical hour-long session, I focus exclusively on theory, followed by assigning past paper questions on the chapters covered as homework. The next class begins with a review of these assignments, which students are required to upload beforehand, allowing me to mark their work outside class time and maximize our session efficiency. In subsequent classes, I continue to reinforce knowledge through practice with past papers, revisiting and re-teaching chapters where the student shows weaknesses. This method ensures a comprehensive understanding and solid preparation for exams
