My teaching is based on communicative approaches and inductive methodologies.

My name is Gabriele. I am a qualified university lecturer with a PhD in European cultural studies and I have over 23 years' experience teaching Italian at higher education.

My teaching is based on inductive communicative approaches. In other words, my learners detect or notice patterns and work out a 'rule' for themselves before they practise Italian.

This type of approach is similar to that that children experience when growing up: first they listen, they they learn to speak and, eventually, they learn to read and write. By learning Italian with me you will also help your brain stay active. I look forward to working with you!
