Science (Biology, Chemistry and Physics) tutor

I have been a Secondary Science Teacher at UK Secondary Schools for 25 years. I am an Online Science Tutor and Examiner/Standards Verifier for the Pearson/Edexcel Examinations Board. I have been a 1:1 tutor for over 10 years and an Online Tutor for 2 years. I have taught all ranges (11-19 years) and all student ability ranges. My specialist Science subject is Chemistry and I have taught A Level Chemistry for 25 years as well as GCSE Chemistry and Key Stage 3 Chemistry. I have also taught GCSE Biology, GCSE Physics, GCSE Science, GCSE Applied Science and also all the Sciences at KS3 level. As a Tutor, I have provided valuable support and guidance to learners of ages 13-19 years covering KS3 Science (for KS3 SATs exams), all the GCSE subjects in the Sciences (as separate subjects and as Double Award GCSE Science). I have an expertise in creating tailored lessons, homework assignments and assessments to support any learner.

I have access to recent and past examination papers and can create individual and personalised exam questions to support any learner. My students have had much success and have achieved top grades in their examinations. Many of my past students and tutees have got into Russell Group Universities, for example, Cambridge University, to study subjects such as Medicine and Veterinary Science.

I have been an examiner/standards verifier for the Pearson/Edexcel examinations board for 14 years and have an expertise in the type of questions that are asked in examinations and can advise his tutees/students in the best way to answer them. I have over 10 years of experience in promoting higher education and providing careers guidance and support to students aged 14-19 years.
