Professional piano teacher, composer and performer offers piano lessons and music theory from a large, comfortable studio space

I teach students aged 18+ (of any level) and have a wealth of knowledge and musical experience to draw on in order to enhance your lessons based on your unique wants and needs.

My main focus is on teaching how to read music effectively as I believe this will then enable you to play any music that you desire. I welcome students from the ages of 18 years upwards.

I have a keen interest and study extensively the topics of correct piano technique and posture, as having knowledge in these areas is essential for preventing injury.

I was classically trained as a child (being awarded distinction at ABRSM Grade 7 classical piano) and then completed a degree in Creative, Expressive Therapies (BA (Hons)), studying to become a Music Therapist.

I have been teaching piano for more than 10 years.
