Offering engaging online one-to-one Maths lessons for students aged 11-16!

I am a final-year BSc Economics student with a passion for helping secondary school students overcome their fear of maths, or helping those with a passion like me improve their grades further! I achieved A*A*A in A-level, so I know what it takes to achieve the top grades in secondary school. I have a year of tutoring experience, delivering engaging one-on-one online lessons to help students fully understand topics that might have gone over their heads in class or to cement their knowledge in certain topics. These typically last an hour long.

I supplement my teaching with around 30-60 minutes worth of homework each week to ensure my students have a firm grasp of each topic we revise. While working with my students, I preach about the importance of having the right attitude and mindset when it comes to school work, as I believe this is the most important factor in improving your child's academic prospects.

The majority of students I have worked with came to me with a harsh distaste for maths, as their classes often rushed through content and schools often lacked resources to assist struggling students. With my assistance, students who were achieving grades U-3 ended up with grades 5-7 in their final exams!

I also maintain a channel of communication with parents to help provide the best support for their children.

I offer a complementary introductory session to all students.
