Advert description
Master in Physics recently graduated at Nottingham Trent University with a first class honours and a Communicating Physics Prize.
One year work experience through a placement year at CERN, the biggest laboratory in particle physics in the world. I was part of the Education, Communication and Outreach team of the organisation taking the role of science communicator as a tour guide and editorial assistant of the CERN Courier magazine.
Further experience that avails my communication skills are my roles as a student ambassador for open days at university, Vice president of the Astronomy and Physics society and Community outreach officer with NTU physics, role in which I organised several workshops at different places such as Green’s Mill and Wollaton Hall, and in different events such as the Festival Of Science and Curiosity and Science in the Park.
I’m a friendly, approachable and enthusiastic person who loves science and loves sharing this passion with everyone to increase the scientific knowledge of the population and work towards a better world.
