Law Tutor, teaches students of all ages

Advert description
I currently work as a law lecturer at Nottingham Law School, Nottingham Trent University, Nottingham where I teach a varied range of courses - such as medical law, tort and legal reasoning, beginning and ending of life. I also serve as a Co-Module Leader in Medical Law as well as the School's Academic Irregularities Representative. Prior to now, I have worked as a law lecturer for the past eight years at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, where my doctoral research was focused primarily on Patients’ Right to Autonomy in Relation to Medical Practice in Nigeria. I am, therefore, interested in the tutor position at your institution because it will offer me a more stable platform to teach and progressively research thereby fulfilling my lifelong vision of making a meaningful and invaluable educational contribution to the lives of young adults.
I have over the years, published in renowned peer reviewed law journals. My teaching approach, therefore, presents a concise and innovative module of engaging multidisciplinary and multi-layered connections in varied areas of National and International Law.

The lesson will introduce the topic with the lesson outcomes. It will then explain the concept under study and give examples/descriptions of it (bearing in mind, the locus classicus in that area of law. While employing audio/visual techniques for effective lecture delivery, the students are most encouraged to participate in the practical approach to the concepts under discuss. This helps to put things into perspective and thus, helps the students to demystify the topic and clear any existing doubts/grey areas. Put simply, the lecture delivery would be student-centred and result oriented.
