I have a BEd in Primary Education

I have a Primary Teaching degree and graduated from the University of Glasgow in June 1989. I started teaching the following academic year in August 1990. I have been teaching ever since and have been at my current school since January 1994 - present day. In that time I have seen many changes in the curriculum, including in the teaching of English. I have led and developed the role of RE in that time also, and trained colleagues and kept them updated in changes in the RE curriculum.
I enjoy working with children who have a desire to learn and want to improve their English skills. I would like to tutor in and around my home of Nottingham. I am happy to teach in my home mainly to begin with but will consider travelling to students as time goes on.
