I have achieved my Masters degree in chemical and energy engineering and have tutored GCSE maths in several occasions before

I have a Masters Degree in Chemical and Energy Engineering from the University of Leeds. I Achieved an A at A-level maths and have previous experience as a GCSE maths tutor. I have a friendly demeanour and if your child wants a tutor that he can get a long with I am your man.

I would initially ask for a 10 minute call over FaceTime or Microsoft teams just to see if me and the student get along. I will clarify their current level and the level they wish to achieve. This will be more to see if the student would like the opportunity to be taught by me and vice versa (free of charge off course).

My lessons would consist of initially a conversation on what they are doing in class/what they are struggling with. I will initially go through some example questions and teach them the theory behind the maths. I believe questions are certainly the best way for a student to learn and it have worked with me throughout my A-levels and Masters degree. The class with consist mainly of this format, until the method is embedded in the students head.
