I would prepare tailored lessons for the tutors to help improve their academic performance. I have mentored year 9 students 1:1 before and did this weekly, changing each lesson. This mentoring was part of an outreach program aiming to improve their confidence in their abilities. I have also taught other age groups during my ambassador job.
