Digital marketing and Print Graphic Design

I have a BA Hons degree in Graphic Design, a PTLLS – Adult Teaching Edexcel BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Andragogic Learning, a D32/D33 National Vocational Qualifications Assessor City and Guilds Diploma, and a Printing and Origination 531 City and Guilds Diploma. I have tutored desktop publishing at Blackburn Open College and taught young in-house designers in many cvompanies as their mentor.

I am a passionate communicator with over 20 years of experience as a senior creative I have gained a wealth of expertise across a varied visual communication spectrum, using creative thinking principles, impactful images and targeted audience content connections.

My expertise extends to using research, insight, understanding analytics, shaping user journeys from feedback and iteration, and appropriate channel selection combined with impactful timing. I can design, edit, manage and direct the creation of visual solutions that answer client briefs and communicate messages that make the audience stop, look and remember.

I have designed bid proposals and sales material to inform foreign governments of the defence capabilities of Tornado GR4, Eurofighter, Typhoon and Gripen aircraft.

I have produced technical installation manuals and guidance on how to install marine diesel engines in the largest ships on the planet.

I have held the position of consultant on the British Army web management board developing the British Army secure intranet and public internet sites.

I designed and developed inclusive and accessible digital content for people with learning difficulties using ‘Easy Read’ design principles for power of attorney information for the Ministry of Justice and content designed website pages for DfE using the government digital service (GDS) style guide whilst contracting on multiple digital transformation programmes.

My experience includes delivering communication strategies and branding objectives with technical, marketing and communication teams, developing optimised, accessible and inclusive content for information and guidance, sales and marketing, and product promotion.

I have attained over 20 years 2/3D technical Illustration experience drawing and managing thousands of technical illustrations for professional publications.

I have been working remotely for the last 2 years and would be a great choice for this short course position.
