Advert description
My teaching approach is interactive, inclusive, and application-focused, ensuring that students engage deeply with psychology beyond just theoretical concepts. I aim to create a student-centered environment where learners feel encouraged to ask questions, challenge ideas, and apply psychological theories to real-world situations.
To achieve this, I will integrate a variety of teaching methods, including:
Case Studies & Real-World Applications: Using contemporary and historical case studies to help students see how psychological principles apply in everyday life, from mental health to marketing and social behavior.
Active Learning Strategies: Engaging students through discussions, debates, role-playing exercises, and small group projects that foster collaboration and critical thinking.
Utilizing videos, podcasts, and interactive digital resources to reinforce concepts in an engaging and accessible manner.
Experimental & Hands-on Learning: Encouraging students to conduct mini psychological experiments, analyze data, and reflect on their findings, making abstract concepts more tangible.
Using a Decolonial framework: Encouraging critical thinking skills.
Personalized Support & Encouragement: Recognizing that each student learns differently, I will provide differentiated instruction and one-on-one guidance to ensure everyone has the opportunity to succeed.
Ultimately, my goal is to inspire curiosity and independent thinking while ensuring that students not only understand psychological theories but also appreciate their relevance in both academic and everyday contexts
