Advert description
I have a degree in Entrepreneurship and Innovation from the University of Edinburgh Business School, as well as 6 years' professional working experience in the Business field. I followed the IGCSE and International A Level syllabuses in school, therefore I am familiar with the syllabus structure and lessons. During my time as a Peer Assisted Learning (PALS) student leader at the Business School, I led sessions for freshers to help them with courses, support for exams, navigating the university’s VLE, and summer internships. I delivered these sessions both in-person and online. As a PAL I was constantly engaged with students, academics, and the Undergraduate Team of the Business School. In my final year I was a Coaching Leader where I coached 2nd year students taking part in the Edinburgh Award for Professional Development for their skills development. I met with them during coaching sessions to check up on their skills development, and kept in touch throughout the year if they required my assistance. I have been actively engaged with the Business School’s activities since 1st year of university, primarily through PALS and year-specific events. I also attended many networking events at the school and maintain strong connections with the PALS scheme, fellow alumni, and the Student Development team, even after I have graduated. Having worked in these roles, I possess demonstrable strong interpersonal communication skills, and excellent cross-cultural competence and communication, as they were highly student focused and required strong customer service skills.
