Hi! I'm Vanessa, a biomedical science graduate with teaching experience. I offer online GCSE maths lessons to help students excel.

My goal is to make maths engaging and accessible, breaking down complex topics into manageable steps. I will teach problem-solving techniques, exam strategies, and reinforce core concepts, ensuring students feel confident and prepared for their GCSE exams. Each lesson will start with a brief review of previous material to reinforce learning. My lessons will adopt a coaching centred approach where I will introduce new concepts using model examples and demonstrate step-by-step solutions. We will then work through similar problems together, ensuring understanding and building confidence. Finally, students will attempt problems independently, applying what they've learned with my guidance available as needed. Each lesson will be personalised and tailored to the student’s needs, setting clear and achievable goals so that we can continue to improve and meet our desired targets. Constructive feedback will be exchanged regularly, allowing us to learn from one another to ensure a positive learning environment and experience.
