History is not a series of textbooks, actions, or events. The study ought to be alive, as we explore fascinating stories and characters and how they shaped or represented their complex time periods. Having studied History at UCL and LSE, I then became a private investigator , trawling the depths of contemporary history for the wealthiest in society. My fascination with the topic extends into the mysteries of our past, and the understanding we have not changed much, or at all, and there (thankfully) remains so much left to discover. With a knowledge of History in hand, anyone can become a citizen of the world.
