I haven’t done this before but I would adapt round the student’s needs as I struggled at school and didn’t have many people to turn to for help. So I would make sure the student feel safe in the environment I have created and can focus on what they are doing. I will do visual presentations while talking to them explaining to them along with some exercises as learning something new is better with visual learning and listening to do something as well.
