I am a very enthusiastic, cheerful and diligent person who is passionate about psychology! My lessons are aimed at A-level but I am open to Degree and GCSE level

Recently, I achieved a grade A at A-level and a first class degree in psychology. Furthermore, I was awarded for obtaining the highest dissertation score in the psychology school at university (95%). I graduated last summer so my memory is fresh on psychology high-scoring essay writing, research and revision skills! I would teach with confidence, patience and reassurance in the students’ capabilities and encourage them to love psychology as much as I do! I would bring excitement to the lessons with different methods of approaching the topics to help them see alternative perspectives of tackling difficult questions. I would bring in extra knowledge and research topics which would help broaden their understanding and keep it interesting, and also provide research papers for them to read around topic areas if they desire. I believe this would count towards a drive towards wanting the top grade, and in turn they will want to do the work for it! I would be willing to help with any questions out of working hours if they need any further information or help. Finally, I will be able to empathise with my own recent experiences to relate to their feelings toward studying a difficult subject like psychology which will help to build a rapport with the students.
