Online History Tutor specilising in 19th and 20th century

My name is Warren, I am 23 years old with a firm passion for history. I like to think of myself as a dedicated, hard working individual who loves to read, watch and play sports and plays the occasional video game.

In terms of experience in teaching, I have worked a multiple schools in either a permanent position or as cover teacher. This has taught me the importance of not only being prepared, but also having the ability to respond to new lines of questions and queries. This experience has also exposed me to a wide range of students with different needs and requirements, which has helped me in understand how I can help these students as individuals.

I have a Bachelors Degree with honours in War Studies which focuses on conflict throughout history and how this has affected the world we live in. I have also spend considerable time researching and developing other periods of time as part of working within a school and needing to know the curriculum.

My lessons will be discussion driven, as your opinion and understanding is important to me when progressing your lessons. History is about analysing and understanding the context of key events and to do this, your understanding of events is critical. My lessons will focus on making sure you not only know the key events but that you can then analyse these events and draw a conclusion as to what this means in the wider context of the subject.
