Advert description
Hi there! I am a Social and Applied Psychologist with an MSc degree from the University of East Anglia. I have a diverse array of knowledge that includes the basics of cognitive, biological and social psychology. In addition to more skill specific knowledge regarding APA formatting, citing references, critically analysing articles and research methods etc. I also specialise in more complex topics such as the psychology of risk, forensic psychology and sleep psychology amongst other more niche topics.
So wether you are beginning to learn psychology, are interested in studying it within higher education or are looking to reinforce your skills at University, I am able to accommodate a wide array of different skill levels based on the individuals needs and what they are hoping to achieve.
As a tutor my teaching philosophy is individualistic. Every student has their own aims, motivations and skill levels and I cater to these aspects. The beginning of a first session with me will involve small ice breakers so that students have an opportunity to know me and so that I can better understand their current knowledge level, what they would like to achieve and within what time frame. This provides me with the knowledge I need to then plan future tutoring sessions to cover the students areas of interest and help reinforce areas where they don't feel as confident.
I offer flexible hours and I am available to tutor 7 days a week (Working Hours: 8:00am to 10:00pm). I operate on an hourly basis and offer sessions depending on the students availability and my own availability but I can provide additional support during examination or assessment periods.
If my skills interest you or if you have any questions prior to booking a session please feel free to get in contact with me via email as I would love to hear from you!
