I provide private lessons aimed at those wanting to improve a range of dance techniques and/or performance skills. I can also provide support with developing choreography skills and provide feedback on performance/choreography and/or theory e.g. for.GCSEs

Sophie was so kind and patient with our wedding dance. Neither of us are dancers and Sophie took that into account. She was willing to alter moves to our skill level and really listened to what we felt comfortable with. Although our dance didn't go 100% on the day due to my dress being more restrictive than I realised, Sophie gave us the confidence to make an entrance and use the moves she taught us to still deliver a really special moment. Some of my favourite pictures from the day are of our first dance and that's thanks to Sophie.

My husband and I, asked Sophie to choreograph our first dance for our wedding. I am not ashamed to say that both of us have no dance experience and as for me I am hopeless with any sort of hand eye coordination. Sophie worked with the song that we had chosen and asked what we wanted from the dance. She came up with the most beautiful dance, that allowed us to be pushed to achieve what we wanted and more than we ever realised we could do. She spent hours making sure it was exactly how it should be making any tweaks we wanted, always tailoring it to us. Sophie inspired confidence in both of us so that when it came down to it we knew where we both had to be and forgot anyone else was watching. It couldn’t have been any more perfect. So many of ours guests commented on how wonderful it was and even more surprising to the both of us how well we did. Sophie is an excellent dance coach. She choreographed and taught me and my husband our wedding dance and she was amazing from beginning to end. The dance was just right for our abilities, simple to learn but with enough sparkle to wow our guests. Sophie was kind and supportive all the way through and very flexible and creative adjusting the choreography when we found certain steps difficult. Thank you for making our wedding dance so special!
