Medical student keen to provide tutoring lessons for A-level Biology

- Used personalised learning plans to guide students to deeper understanding of course material and learning styles.
- Used flashcards and other techniques to test and improve memory through practiced information retrieval.
- Used positive reinforcement, repetition and review to help students master challenging material.
- Supported students with helpful study habits and exam strategies.

Lesson strategies:
- Will verbally test students on exam style questions for every chapter on a regular basis to maintain confidence with key biological processes.
- Will use an electronic whiteboard online to map out and explain key concepts, pathways and diagrams in detail and teach the entire course in specification order (can adjust this according to individual preferences) e.g. according to how the student’s school teaches them each chapter.
- Will compile mini tests based on past exam questions whilst going through the course and provide online marking and feedback during lessons.
- Will share some written notes that I made and used for my course as a sample for students who may be unsure on how to effectively make and organise notes. I also plan to have one lesson solely dedicated to showing how to organise your folders and notes in an effective manner.

n.b. my lessons are ideal for OCR A students as that is the exam board I studied.
