As a successful schoolteacher and private tutor of over 30 years, I offer French tuition, based on the English state secondary curriculum up to A level.

Effective language tuition is based on identifying a student's needs, assessing their current attainment levels in each of the four pillars of language: listening, speaking, reading and writing. Following that, tutoring is formulated around responding to those needs. Two other, somewhat unique factors characterise my approach to French tuition: firstly, narrative and storytelling are hugely important; then, being trained originally in music education, I use that background to enhance and extend students' aural and speaking skills.
