A passionate pedagogue to stir up interest in basic science for inquiring minds

I have a Ph.D. in theoretical physics and applied mathematics and 5 years long teaching experience under my belt. When I teach a subject, I want to imagine that I am learning the material for the first time, by exploring the subject all over again, I will reconnect with my passion for physics. I shall break any topic at hand down into main ideas, by asking myself questions like Why is this a natural thing to define? and what is the bigger picture here? I always encourage students to follow my lead and break the material down for themselves. I think if I am enthusiastic and encouraging, this motivates my students to enjoy the learning process as much as I do and impulsively they fall in love with the subject.
