Tutor for KS3 and GCSE Students, focussing on Business, Maths, English, History, RE and Music

I have been a SEN teaching assistant for a number of years, pre-covid, where I did a lot of focus on core subjects with students who struggled with the mainstream classroom environment. I did a lot of 1:1 work.

I am educated to degree level in Music and Theology, and I also help run the family business - a mechanical design engineering company. I have produced all our branding and content, such as the website.

I like to keep things relaxed and flexible, but also quite strict. I am very old-school in that vein. I believe that education shouldn't be just about passing exams in what I now think is nothing more than a series of giant memory tests - but developing the ability to think critically, IQ and intelligence.

I am happy to work from home, online. Or if you prefer travel to a school or library within 30miles of my home address.
