Qualified Italian tutor with many years' experience from beginniner to advanced

Hi,

My name is Stefania, I am Italian but live in England. I enjoy learning languages and I can also speak a bit of French and Spanish which I try to keep up with reading articles and listening to podcast as well as practicing my languages with my French and Spanish speaking friends. I also enjoy reading, keeping up to date with news, gardening and growing some vegetables in my garden but only if it’s not too cold, I like keeping fit with Pilate and walking.

I have been teaching Italian for many years both face to face and, more recently, also online. I have extensive teaching experience at all levels from beginner to advanced. I take pride in my work and I find very satisfying seeing my students progress from saying a few simple phrases to competent speakers able to hold a conversation with native speakers.

When I prepare the lessons I always tailored them to the student’s needs and abilities in order to build their knowledge and confidence. My aim is to make each lesson interesting and varied, I include different activities to provide speaking and listening opportunities as well as reading and written exercises to consolidate the learning. I’m also able to help you preparing for exams such as GCSE and A Level. So, whether you are a total beginner, want to brush up on some grammar or are an advanced speaker who wants to practice conversational skills to maintain the language and extend vocabulary I'll be able to help you.
