Maths tutoring and consolidation for Ages 8- 14 years- Primary School to Secondary School Level

Hello! My name is Tara and I would love to help teenagers of younger years with their homework, studies, and whatever else they need help with. My classes are remote and flexible with dates and times; cancellations and rescheduling are also easily sorted out.

My lessons are taught with the intentions of the student having an easier time understanding and learning topics in school, they also serve as consolidation lessons for what has been taught with their teachers, and I help with homework and projects.

My teaching style is interactive and thoughtful, and I am wary of adapting a variety of teaching methods such as games, real-life examples, and past papers to make math and mandarin fun and accessible for young learners. I am also open to providing regular progress reports to parents to keep them informed of their child's progress if wanted.

Lessons will take place remotely via Zoom only.
Rates: £11/ hour

Experience: I understand the GCSE curriculum for both maths and mandarin and have achieved Grade 9s in GCSE for both subjects. I also regularly tutor children in my family ranging from primary year 4 to Year 9. Additionally, I've attended international schools in Hong Kong and Shanghai, and I now attend a Private school in England so I am well aware of the ranges of topics and expectations of different curriculums.
