Advert description
Hi there! My name is Louisa, a singer and guitarist with a passion for music that has been developed over many years. At the age of 16, I made the important decision to dedicate my education exclusively to music. This commitment led me to excel in my studies by firstly completing a Level 3 BTEC Diploma at Leeds Conservatoire in Popular Music, where I achieved the top grade of DDD* (equivalent to 3 A*s at A-Level). Continuing to pursue my educational journey, I earned a distinction in my Grade 8 in voice. Subsequently, I broadened my musical horizons by completing a bachelor’s degree in Folk and Traditional Music at Newcastle University with my main instrument as voice and obtaining 2.1 grade.
Since graduating I have been working in part time employment and part time freelance work. My employment involves working at various schools and nurseries as a general assistant to enhance my experience and understanding of working with children. My freelance work has involved performing and tutoring. My advanced education combined with my extensive practical experiences, positions me to confidently assist students in growing their vocal skills, fostering confidence in their singing abilities.
My diverse educational journey equips me to cater to the specific desires of each student. Additionally, I believe in the value of tutoring individuals of all ages and abilities. My overarching goal is to create a comfortable and relaxed environment where students feel free to make mistakes and ask questions so we can unlock your full vocal potential. I'm excited to be part of your or your child’s musical journey!
