I provide bespoke primary aged maths and English tutoring and entrance exam training for independent schools

I am an experienced primary school teacher. I teach in a school in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, UK. I have three children of my own whom I have supported successfully through entrance exams, and have taught a number of other children from a variety of backgrounds to pass entrance exams to elite independent schools in Newcastle and England. I have taught in an online capacity for 3 years and in that time have taught over 1,500 students on a one-to-one basis and in small classes. I have 5 star reviews from these classes. I use ZOOM to facilitate my online tutoring sessions.

I have taught throughout the primary sector for many years, and have been tutoring for five years. Since beginning, my pupils have achieved 100% pass rate for entrance exams into a variety of independent schools in Newcastle. I have also received specialist training in reading skills and phonics, which has helped those I teach successfully pass the Phonics Screening Test, which has of course benefited their reading! I am fully trained in up-to-date Phonics methods such as Little Wandle and Letters and Sounds. I am trained in teaching Maths to children of primary school age, and am able to use the Maths Mastery method, or more traditional methods. I am also experienced in teaching conversational English to individuals and small groups.
