I am a first-year medical student at the University of Dundee, holding a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences from Newcastle University. Alongside my foundation in science, I bring extensive tutoring experience in languages, including English, Romanian, and Russian. With a passion for teaching and a dedication to helping others succeed, I offer qualitative lessons in Chemistry, Biology, English as a foreign language, Russian, and Romanian. My approach is tailored to meet the unique needs of each student, ensuring that they receive personalised and effective instruction. In my previous tutoring roles, I have worked with students from diverse backgrounds, helping them achieve their academic goals. I begin each new class by assessing the student’s strengths and weaknesses. This allows me to create customised lesson plans that focus on areas that need improvement. My teaching style is hybrid, where I provide both structure and flexibility, adapting a lesson plan to keep students engaged. I also ensure that students grasp concepts at a comfortable pace with maximum understanding. During lessons, I actively engage students asking relevant questions to check their understanding in the topic explained. For visual learners, I make sure to include relevant videos, diagrams and other visual explanation during the lessons to reinforce concepts. By revising previously taught topics, I monitor progress of the students and adjust my teaching strategies as needed. My empathetic approach, helps me address challenges and support students in case of distress, still providing the best lesson.
