English Tutor specialising in English Literature

I am an experienced A-Level, GCSE, KS3 English teacher and AQA examiner whilst being an established Middle School Leader with a specific focus on Literacy. I teach English Language and English Literature.

I provide support for knowledge building / content focus or specialist help with exam technique. It is often this lack of exam technique and exam focus that will hinder a students progress. Currently I work with students from all different backgrounds.

I currently manage literacy across our school and I have previously worked a Deputy Head of English in a large school. In my previous school, we were a large faculty where the English GCSE results were regularly in the best top 25% of schools in the country and our GCSE results were 96% 9-7.

My mission is to inspire my students and encourage them to have a positive mindset, with a `can do` attitude, ensuring they reach their full potential.
