English and/or History lessons online (evenings and weekends) for all age groups and abilities

Hi, I'm Lucy. I have high-level GCSEs and mock a-levels in a wide range of dedicated subjects and areas of interest and have applied to top universities in the area for a Law Degree and work experience. My lessons for any student, whether currently in full-time education or not, will be dedicated and centred around the student's individual and particular needs to achieve the best outcomes possible for advancing one's future and ambitions in these particular fields and beyond. For any English students out there my main a-level studies follow the Meanings and Representations topics of analysing texts while comparing the time period context and relevance of texts. This follows the analysis of grammar in bodies of text as well as describing the benefits of lexical structures and grammatical choices as well as tone, context (pragmatics), audience positioning and power distance with text producers. For those who would be more interested in History, my studies have allowed me to follow and gain historical knowledge in topics like the two world wars, the growth and development of the Russian State in coursework, the process made of the Crusading Period (1071 to 1204) as well as The Making of Modern Britain (1945 to 2007). While also developing individual impacts and the further effects of historical timelines in the wider narrative of history and how that has led to the creation of Britain that is known today.
