Advert description
Fan holds a bachelors (Hons) in nursing science and a bachelor's degree, followed by a nursing internship at Shanghai Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital. Fan also has a Master's Degree in Nutrition and a PhD in Biology, alongside experience as a clinical lead investigator in her PhD project. Since then, Fan has been adapting to being a project lead currently and hopefully being a general and specific PM in the future for contributing a positive impact on human health.
Fan’s PhD experience involves human clinical research project with massive clinical work (FMD, PWV, PWA, venepuncture etc. parts of the skills from her nursing experience) incorporated with ELISA, her work includes project design, clinical trial design, conduct and report. Fan's PhD project aims at assessing blood lipids profile, and cardiovascular biomarkers alongside vascular risk factors (resting and ambulatory BP, endothelial function) in different ethnicities, and improving vascular health ageing process via designing and intaking healthy dietary interventions or supplements incorporated into the habitual diet, so people can enjoy a healthy ageing process and be prevented from experiencing chronic vascular diseases.
Fan also gains sufficient experience in desk-based research e.g. designing, conducting and reporting survey and focus group interview research, undertaking systematic reviews and meta-analysis, designing protocols, evaluating frameworks, and comprehensive literature/scoping review as a basis in project via both qualitative and quantitative approaches on wide range of healthcare subjects - dietary intervention, social health, mental health interventions, behavioural changes for general health improvement, arts-based research related subjects.
