1st class BA Modern Languages (French, German, Italian) graduate with private tutoring and teaching experience. Offering Y7-9, GCSE and A Level French and German tutoring to help students to feel happier and more confident with language learning.

I graduated with a 1st class degree in French, German, and Italian from the Uni of Sheffield in 2022 (and received distinctions for spoken Italian and French) and have spent the last academic year teaching in a German speaking secondary school in Italy as a English language assistant. I have experience tutoring individual students to prepare for GCSE and A Level French and German as well as teaching English as a foreign language. I have also lived and worked in Innsbruck, Austria and Paris, France, working in secondary schools and for a company providing private English workshops to kids ages between 3 and 10 years old (respectively) as well as spent time au pairing for children in Italy. I can offer tutoring for students who want to improve their confidence with languages and their spoken French and German, grammar, writing, and comprehension skills. Depending on the student and what they want to get out of the sessions, I can offer conversation/ speaking exam practice, grammar sessions, support with writing and help them to come up with a plan to feel happier and more confident whether they're preparing for GCSEs/A Levels or just getting to grips with learning French and German. I am familiar with UK exam specifications (specifically AQA) and have recently passed through the education system myself so feel up to date with what approaches can work best for students and what is expected :-)
