I like to understand the student first and their current level of knowledge and confidence in the topic. I then like to do a brief recap to get their brain warmed up to what we are about to learn. Then I like to present the learning objectives straight away, these are tied directly to their exam or qualification requirements. Then I teach the class. With each chapter or subs set linking back to the learning objective / qualification requirement. Finish with a fun quiz or task to embed the knowledge Then a summary of what was learnt and how it’ll help achieve good results Lastly give some pointers on further areas to explore outside of class if the student wants to practice certain areas
