Tomás Alexis Tellechea is a composer and clarinetist with notable
performances in Argentina and Spain. He has performed as a clarinetist in
various orchestras in Buenos Aires and has been part of numerous musical
ensembles as both clarinetist and composer. With over 10 years of
experience, he teaches clarinet in both public and private sectors. Currently,
he is an active member of the Argentine Association of Composers (AAC),
an institution that promotes the creation and dissemination of
contemporary academic works.
Tellechea graduated with a degree in "Clarinet Technique" from the
Provincial Conservatory of Classical Music Juan José Castro, where he also
studied composition under the guidance of maestros Cecilia Fiorentino and
Nahuel Laviola, among others. Additionally, he has delved into the
language of jazz and Argentine folklore with renowned musicians from the
country. His music has been premiered in prestigious local venues, such as
the Faculty of Law and the Teatro El Círculo in Rosario, as well as
internationally at the Auditorio Centro de Artes Edgard Neville of the
Diputación de Málaga, Spain. Some of his works have received honorable
mentions in the "Diversity Initiative" Competition in Texas, USA.
