Chemistry professor with over 28 years experience

Currently a Chemistry Professor at Queens College, CUNY, I have 28 years of experience teaching high school, AP, IB, and first year college chemistry. I specialize in individual instruction with an emphasis on providing analogies, visuals, and real life applications of principles so that you actually understand chemical concepts rather than merely memorizing them. Problems provided by students always receive priority. New topics are developed by inquiry based instruction followed by examples and practice problems to test for understanding. YouTube videos are used where appropriate to help students connect abstract ideas to real world and laboratory activities.
