I had guitar lessons with Kirsty and she also taught my daughter piano and vocals. I looked forward to my lessons each week as Kirsty makes learning fun and exciting. She would also tailor the lessons (both mine and my daughter’s) to what we were interested in/ wanted to focus on. Kirsty is naturally encouraging and creates a warm and nurturing environment for learning. I felt excited about my learning and I could see the progress I was making. The fact that Kirsty is a successful singer, songwriter and artist in her own right also inspired my daughter. She had had two piano teachers prior to Kirsty but hadn’t enjoyed her learning. After her first lesson with Kirsty I saw the difference and she actually wanted to go home and practise! We will miss Kirsty - she is an amazing teacher and just a really lovely person to be around. ??

Kirsty, is a wonderful guitar tutor. She is both personable and professional and tailors every lesson to suit the individual child's needs. Kirsty is the third guitar tutor my son has had and is undoubtedly the best. Kirsty breaks lessons down in such away that it is really easy for my son to understand, whilst always striving for perfection. Kirsty has helped George improve both his practical and theoretical understanding of the guitar and as such he has made real progress. I would strongly recommend her to any perspective students. Kirsty is also extremely flexible and gives timely and helpful feedback after each lesson. My son thoroughly enjoys his lessons with her.

I was having singing lessons with Kirsty for over 3 years and in that time I passed 4 Trinity Exams - Grade 5-8 and passed with Distinction every time. I learned a lot about my voice, worked on breathing and body support and started performing live. She gave me the confidence and skills I needed to learn everything I needed to understand my voice completely and how to control it and utilise it in every way possible. The hardest technique for me to learn was Belt but she showed me slowly and carefully and guided me on how to protect my voice when using so much power - she was great! She is a brilliant and knowledgeable teacher with a lot of experience and I loved my lessons with her.

Her flexibility with timings was a game-changer for me. Thanks to Kirsty's guidance, I gained the confidence to sing a solo in front of 60 people at one of my parties. Without any exaggeration Kirsty’s tutoring changed and improved my life and I’ll be forever grateful to her. After throat surgery I completely lost the ability to sing and as singing with my friends and family and singing at home when relaxing was really important to me, I was devastated. I saw Kirsty advertise on Facebook so contacted her and then started a course of singing rehabilitation lessons with her. Kirsty not only taught me vocal techniques to regain the ability to sing socially but then progressed my vocal range and power beyond what I’d ever had previously had which enabled me to start performing solo and as a lead singing regularly in bands.
