Passionate native German teacher with various teaching experience in Germany

Hallo!

My name is Seb and I'm a German and French teacher from Germany where I used to teach German, English, and French (A1-B2) at a language school. I really love learning languages with people because languages connect us and different cultures and I find linguistic structures absolutely fascinating. I like showing people how languages work because it also helps them reflect on their native language.

In my lessons, I always prioritise your needs and what you want to achieve. In our first lesson, I'll ask you what you expect and what you want to achieve. I use different resources (books, videos) even though I think that we are the best resources by speaking German. I usually only speak English when explaining grammar rules because I think that natural exposure to German is key. You're always more than welcome to give feedback and make suggestions!

I've been teaching languages for 10 years and I'm very proud to say that all of my students have improved by 1-2 grades and all of my adult students have passed their language exams. This is also a great achievement for me because I genuinely care about your progress and I want to be part of it.
