During my 5 years teaching experience in both formal and non formal environment I have gained a wide range of experience. Teaching had been fun and enjoyable at the same Time Meeting learners from all over the world,interacting with them at different levels has greatly changed My perspective about life and culture.
The learners have met over the years, tend to have different needs ranging from classroom to career level.Having the chance to discuss in search of solutions, I learn too ,and in the process we both benefit.Learners enjoy the lessons more through question answers session.
As a teacher I not only teach but also encourage and advice my learners at personal level.I have made friends in learners.Our classroom methodology vary from one learner to another due to variation in goals .But,learner based method do worders in my class,since I allow the learner to take over the lesson through questions and leading in discussion. Assignments help Mr in assessing the learner progress accordingly.
Each day I learn new vocabulary which I share and challenge learners with and through this we both learn at the end.I do face challenges with beginner learners who can barely use English thus a lot of time is wasted in translation from their mother language to English. Nevertheless we have concured the challenge and learners goals achieved. Having me as your teacher will be not only a life time experience but life time laughter and fun while learning.
I use my challenges as strong hold to concure tomorrow.
