Personal Statement

“Education is not the learning of facts, but the training of the mind to think." --Albert Einstein The new generations are the future and need to be encouraged to develop their potential, especially by following the science and engineering paths. Due to global warming, a new generation of creative engineers is necessary to build our world without fossil fuels, collect CO2 from the atmosphere, etc. To achieve this, it is necessary to adapt education to the rhythm and way of life of young students, to speak the language of the new digital era, and to encourage emotional development and connection to what they are learning. This new way of learning needs to be fluid and multidimensional, mixing knowledge from different subjects as well as incorporating the best practises arising from the latest pedagogical research, such as independent research, peer and self assessment, project-based learning, independent skills, and emotional development. My academic experience ranges from literature to science to physical performance, which has helped me to understand the world surrounding me in a holistic way. I am very comfortable with the SSC,HSSF, O -level and A-level Cambridge boards due to the deep research needed to develop chemistry schemes of work for both KS3 and KS4 and KS5(SSC,HSSC,O- levels and A-levels) . Now Chemistry course, which I believe talks about and is based on education for the XXI century, I have a framework to develop what I have always tried and worked on during my lessons: developing thinking minds. My skills and tools as an educator have grown by understanding the curriculum from a new perspective. I have obtained a wealth of experience in terms of my teaching practice and have developed into the kind of teacher I continuously seek to be: a teacher that uses my passion for chemistry, learning, and teaching as a path to personal development, both for the students and myself. This vision allows me to be an outstanding teacher. I am a firm believer in independent learning and the power of education as a means for social and personal development. As a child, I discovered, with the help of an inspiring chemistry teacher, that chemistry is everywhere. This teacher opened my mind to allow me to understand that everything in the universe is made of matter, and understanding chemistry is getting a bit closer to understanding how the universe works. I became passionate about chemistry as it brings knowledge to many fields, such as biology, medicine, geology, astronomy, and engineering. By entering the world of teaching and becoming a science teacher, I aspired to transmit my passion and curiosity for science and the universe to students, igniting their passions for science. I believe that chemistry is an empirical science that uses the scientific method to make findings through observation, experimentation, and quantification, and that it is an open door for developing questioning minds. I believe that each pupil is unique and that they learn differently, and this difference needs to be nurtured and celebrated.

I would like to apply for the position of Chemistry Teacher, where I know I can contribute positively to the department of sciences, as well as the ethos and vision of the school in nurturing high-achieving and compassionate adults; to promote educational excellence, world-class knowledge, skills development, and self-awareness while embracing a diverse society; to combine a balanced knowledge of science, technology, the humanities, and the arts while mastering languages and the most advanced technology and communications skills. This opportunity would allow me to continue fostering independent thinking to develop the next generation of free-minded, creative, courageous, and inspirational citizens.

During my time as a science teacher and Head of Chemistry Department at Fauji Foundation Higher secondary school Jhelum Punjab Pakistan,I have developed my leadership skills for chemistry at SSC and HSSC and leading a team of science teachers, with special emphasis on ensuring they foster independent and investigative skills, which are fundamental when developing a rational, scientific mind.
I did Masters in chemistry from Quaid-e-Azam university Islamabad Pakistan. I did B.Sc in botany,Zoology and chemistry from Punjab university Lahore Pakistan. I did B.Ed from university of Lahore Pakistan. I did English language teaching course from foundation university Islamabad Pakistan. I also did teacher training course from fauji foundation higher secondary school Gujar Khan.I served as a chemistry teacher for about six years in Fauji foundation higher secondary school jhelum Pakistan. I got best GPA chemistry teacher certificate for obtaining good results of all the students in chemistry.I served as a class teacher and science teacher for primary and secondary classes.I taught science, biology, mathematics, social studies and chemistry to students of different ages ranging from 4 upto 18 years old.I served as a class teacher for about five years.I also helped students in doing chemistry laboratory work .I submitted my masters degree in chemistry for homolagation process in the federal government office of Valencia but it takes time. I am living in Alberic, Valencia Spain with my husband and kids.I am in search of teaching (teacher, assistant teacher or support teacher)or non teaching job as teaching is my passion and dealing in school also. Waiting for positive response. Best regards.
