A native speaking, English graduate with PGCE and CELTA certificates and 18 years experience working as an ESOL lecturer in a busy college, with added experience working to support GCSE students, and also working more recently within the HE environment to support learners with academic English.

I aim to help you develop your language or specific area of language / skill, once we’ve established the target focus or outcomes through an initial chat. My hope is to make lessons as relevant as possible, bringing your interests/profession/area of study into the scenario. A combination of structured, less structured/ freer activities will help you then develop that language in all areas of communication, giving you the confidence you need to utilise it in your daily life for the desired purpose.
